Nissan Unveils New 370Z NISMO Roadster Concept


The 2015 Chicago Auto Show was lucky enough for Nissan to grace its presence with the all new 370Z NISMO Roadster. Not only is this little baby good enough for speedsters, Nissan explains that the Roadster is perfect for driving outside the race track, making it very versatile and appealing to many different auto enthusiasts. Nissan tells us that the Roadster has its own unique engine, suspension, exterior and interior features and is quite different from the standard 370Z model.

The 370Z offers a striking body style that gives it that racecar feel while still having the ability for luxury car fanatics to take it for a spin on the freeway. Pierre Loing, Nissan's vice president of Product Planning for North America states that the company "thinks the 370Z NISMO Roadster Concept would be a tremendous addition to the long and distinguished history of Z sports cars."

Nissan Gets Down and Dirty


Nissan is getting bold and boasting they have the Worlds Cleanest Car. The residence of Chicago are being asked to venture through the city's muckiest streets. Introducing an all-new paint job that claims to repel even the muddiest of puddles. The LEAF is being revealed at the Chicago Auto Show.

Creators are excited to demonstrate how the LEAF's exterior is covered with superhydrophobic and oleophobic paint that is said to fend off dirt, grime, and slush. The science behind this super paint consists of a special coating that creates air between the grime and the paint on the vehicle. Trial tests have proven that frost and sleet, to name a few, have been successfully warded off, leaving the vehicle virtually spotless.   

Nissan is hoping that the paint technology will be successful enough to begin using on other models as well. Imagine never having to give your car a bath again? Soon enough, you might not have to imagine...it will be the real deal.
