2017 Nissan Armada

The Nissan Armadas square cut body style is reminiscent of a good portion of the higher end luxury SUVs currently in the market. The Armada favors sharp lines that flow evenly from front to back, creating hard edges and a wholly aggressive stance. The side window line is the sole exception of the geometric design, curving upwards and pointing outwards to the rear, which nicely creates a fluid sense of motion and relaxes the overall look just a bit.

That upscale look extends to the interior, where the Armada features more substantial soft-touch materials and bolder accents than in the past. The design is fairly simple, with an 8.0-inch touchscreen on the center stack and a flight of buttons and controls below it. The Armada seats eight, though optional second-row bucket seats reduce seating capacity to seven. Reclining second-row seats are standard, and they tip forward for easier access to the third row. You’ll immediately notice the spacious second-row seats, which have best-in-class head- and legroom. That means great things for adult passengers, but it should also make things easier on parents trying to install a child’s car seat. The second-row seats also feature LATCH connectors, letting you secure compatible car seats without using the seat belt.

The standard SV trim comes standard with 18-inch alloy wheels, a full-size spare, automatic LED headlights (low-beam only), roof rails, side steps, rear privacy glass, keyless ignition and entry, a rearview camera, dual-zone automatic climate control, heated six-way power front seats (with two-way power driver lumbar), a leather-wrapped tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, a reclining second-row bench split seat and a 60/40-split third-row seat. Standard technology features include Bluetooth connectivity, an 8-inch touchscreen interface, a navigation system, and a 13-speaker Bose audio system with a CD player, satellite radio, an auxiliary audio jack and a USB media player interface.

The 2017 Nissan Armada is powered by a 5.6 L V8 engine with an output of 390 horsepower and 394 pound-feet of torque, paired with a seven speed automatic transmission. A limited-slip differential, hill start assist and a tow mode are all standard, and the Armada is capable of towing a whopping 8,500 lbs when properly equipped- as high as any other SUV currently on the market.

Standard safety features includes antilock brakes, traction and stability control, front side airbags, full-length side curtain airbags, and a rearview camera. A blind-spot monitoring system, forward collision warning, and automatic emergency braking for both frontal and rear collisions are optional on the SL and standard on the Platinum.

Nissan X-Trail 4Dogs

Dogs themselves haven’t changed much in recent years, not since we fully domesticated them and made them a centered part of our daily lives. Their role in the house has steadily become more prevalent. Dogs are now an integral part of many families, and this requires adjusting their everyday lives accordingly. Nissan has designed a concept especially for these families in order to make traveling easier as well as a more comfortable and safe experience for their precious cargo.

The Nissan X-Trail 4Dogs is a concept following a survey of over 1300 dog owners conducted by a renowned dog health and welfare organization called The Kennel Club. The features in the X-Trail have been thoughtfully developed to enable convenient, hassle free travel for the whole family.

"It's clear from the research that for dog owners, dogs are a key part of the family. Ensuring their pet's needs are catered for is often just as important as making sure the children are comfortable and happy. The Nissan X-Trail is a car that's built for family adventures, and the X-Trail 4Dogs concept takes that to the next level." –Ryan Gains, chief marketing manager for the X-Trail

All things required to ensure clean and comfortable travels have been considered in the X-Trails design. It features a 360 degree pull-out shower paired with a hair dryer for thorough cleaning. The rear compartment is equipped with a pull out utility drawer for stowing the shower attachments, as well as side compartments for storing other accessories like treats and leads.

Doggie amenities in the rear space include lavish bedding, an ingenious no-spill water bowl, and a nifty smart dog treat dispenser. Once the dogs have settled into their plush bedding, simply attach their leads to the clip-on harness hook for safe travels. The bedding, water bowl and treat dispenser are all easily removed to create a usable space upholstered in premium wipe clean leather for effortless dirt and hair removal.

Possibly the best feature of all is the innovative ‘dog-cam’ technology. It has been ingeniously integrated into the X-Trail's Nissan Connect infotainment system, allowing owner and dog to see each other via the seven-inch dashboard display and a new 10-inch LCD screen installed into the dog space. Owners can even talk to their dogs via an audio link to keep them calm.

If your dogs are an integral part of your family, than you surely consider them in all of the twists and turns you take on lifes’ path. The next time you’re in the market for an all-inclusive family vehicle, Nissan has gone above and beyond to meet the criteria to make the X-Trail your perfect choice. If you’d like more information or updates on the X-Trail, we will happily oblige you here- at our site!

Titan Pro-4X

Americans love their trucks. In fact, during the first 9 months of 2016, one out of every eight vehicles sold in the US were large pickup trucks. The best-selling truck in American is the Ford F-150, last year the F-150 out sold the best-selling car, the Toyota Camry 2-1. Every manufacturer sees that trucks are a huge market and they all want to get a piece of the pie, and Nissan is no different, that’s why they released the specialty 2017 Nissan Titan Pro-4X 4x4 Crew Cab.

While it is true that Nissan has sold truck for 50 years and has made them in Mississippi since 2003, the full since Titan has been merely an afterthought until the second-generation model made its debut in the beginning of 2015. The Titan heavy-duty XD was the first on showroom floors, followed by a half-ton crew-cab version powered by a 5.6-liter gas V-8. Nissan has now been boosting their Titan lineup with single and extended varieties, and they are equipping them with 5.5, 6.5, and 8.0 foot beds. And Nissan plans to release a V-6 option here in the near future. It is clear that Nissan is here to play in the game.

Nissan is so serious about their truck lineup that they are offering the Titan in seven different trim levels to answer the demand of all of their consumers. The different levels are Titan-Single Cab; S and SV, and Titan-Crew Cab; S, SV, PRO-4X, SL, and Platinum Reserve. The Titan Pro-4X 4x4 Crew Cab is Nissan’s middle-child, but this one isn’t forgotten. As the name implies, the Pro-4X, has part-time four-wheel drive, which comes standard along with all-terrain tires, 18-by-8-inch aluminum wheels, Bilstein dampers, a locking rear differential, hill-descent control, and a steel skid plate protecting the radiator and the oil sump.

Nissan’s DOHC V-8 is a thing of mechanical beauty with four-valve combustion chambers, variable intake-valve timing and lift, and direct fuel injection. Power and torque peaks are both relatively high, but there was ample low-end muscle to yank a 6000-pound trailer smartly up to highway-merging speed. The Pro-4X cabin is a large and luxurious enclave for five occupants that offers supportive seats, easy access, and surprising versatility, especially in back. The split rear cushions can be raised to convert passenger perches into a level load space. Lockable cubbies beneath the molded-plastic cargo platforms are another handy touch. In front, a 7.0-inch touchscreen serves as the infotainment command center. It’s equipped with voice-recognition navigation, hands-free text messaging, Siri Eyes Free, Bluetooth, and a bird’s-eye-view backup camera.

The 2017 Nissan Titan Pro-4X 4x4 Crew Cab is now available for you to drive off in, fully customizable and starting at just over $42,000. Take a look at our inventory and contact us now to get yours today!

Nissan Recalls

Recently, there have been recalls on a few different Nissan models. And cars and truck alike are included in this round of recalls.

First off, the 2016 Nissan Titan XD is being recalled to a problem in the fuel system. The problem isn’t as serious as one might think, the problem lies in a fuel tank breather tube that wasn’t connected to the bed rail as it should have been. This causes the fuel tank to not have proper ventilation and can screw with the fuel gauge reading as well as through off the “distance to empty” readout. The vehicles affected are the 2016 Titan XD equipped with the diesel V8 and were built between August of 2015 and September 2016. Around 12,000 Titan’s will be recalled in total.

Nissan has yet to say when notifications are to going to be sent out as they are continuing to investigate the problem.

Nissan is also issuing a recall on a host of late model vehicles. 134,000 in total will be recalled, the 2016-17 Maxima, 2015-17 Murano and 2015-16 Murano Hybrid are all on the list. These vehicles are only included in the recall if they contain Nissan's Intelligent Cruise Control, which is its fancy name for adaptive cruise. The issue lies with an anti-lock brake actuator pump that comes as part of the semi-autonomous feature. This pump may leak brake fluid onto a circuit board under the vehicle's hood, which can cause a fire in the engine bay. The fix involves replacing the ABS actuator in question.

Drivers are told to use caution, pay attention to how long the ABS light stays on when the vehicle is first started. If the light stays on for longer than 10 seconds, you are supposed to park the vehicle and call the dealership. Nissan has yet to begin sending notifications, but will begin soon.

Owners may contact Nissan customer service at 1-800-647-7261. Schedule our recall service with us now and while you’re waiting check out our great Nissan products. Contact us today to schedule your appointment!
